Executive Director Dr. Mrignaini Khullar along with Principal Seema Jerath welcomed the Chief Mentor Sandeep Senan, Founder & Director, Evobi Automations Pvt. Ltd for the session.
The experiential learning workshop gave an opportunity to the participants to understand the concept and methodology involved in design thinking, which empowers even the most traditional thinker to develop new, innovative solutions to problems on hand using new age technology tools.
Principal Seema Jerath, while speaking on the occasion, emphasised that there is a huge disconnect between what is taught and learnt at school and what is needed to succeed, in terms of relevant and good quality life, relevant work skills and good relationships. Realising the need to rethink and resculpt education, progressive NPSC schools are consistently endeavouring to bridge this disconnect by, organizing such events.
‘It was a good interactive session where teachers became students and students became teachers and they learned from each other’, said Mr. Sandeep Senan.
The event saw intense interaction and great enthusiasm among the participants. ‘It was an enriching session wherein we learnt to innovate and design empathetically. The session has given us wonderful ideas which can be used in day-to-day life!’, say Sumi Malik, Lovely Public Senior Secondary School and Rani Vaid, Bal Bharti School, Noida.
The session fostered curiosity among learners to tinker and provided them a peer-to-peer learning platform that demystified all queries related to tinkering.
