‘Today I had a worth watching experience at the ‘Drifting Canvas Art Exhibition’. As soon as we entered, excitement and enthusiasm was at another level. It was art in motion, art we have never seen before. All of us were guided by the in charge who took the lead and gave us brief about the legendary European artists like Edger Degas, Gustav klimt,Claude Monet,Vincent van Gogh and many more…’
These were the artists of 18th and 19th century and each one of them had a unique style of painting. While some arts borrowed inspiration from non-western and pre-historic people like artists Paul Gougin ,Amedeo Modigliani, and other portrayed their own personal experiences by artists like Henri Rousseau , Kazmir Malevich, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Signac ,Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. The moment we went inside the Multimedia Hall we saw every painting coming alive. This left us in awe. Paintings were in motion and with light and sound they seemed like dancing which was very enlightening. The next thing we saw were the artworks of various artists of India. I along with my friends went to see 3-D images. But above all, was the three-dimensional art by artist AP Shreethar. It was a man holding a camera that displayed an impressive visual experience. It was a beautiful treat for our eyes. Watching art with such cutting edge technology was a dream comes true as it was held first time in India! This was something I will remember and cherish throughout my life.
