We measure success in terms of what our students do out of their lives and in terms of their usefulness to others. It is more important to be ‘good‘ rather than just being ‘smart‘ and to be able to be citizens of the world, for the world.
Many parts of India are facing drought right now. The need of affected people there is not water alone – with the failure of crops, non-availability of water, lack of income generation activities and high costs of daily need material, life for millions in many villages is in a mess right now. To do our bit in this hour of crisis for so many people we have partnered with Goonj, an award winning voluntary organization www.goonj.org whose founder Mr. Anshu Gupta last year won the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award.
DLF Public School organized a Class to Class Campaign to contribute for the drought-affected regions of our nation. It allowed our students to avail the opportunity to be responsible and to experience their power to improve the lives of other people.
DLF Public School is proud to be the ‘one large family’ undoubtedly – where each one of us stands together – be it a celebration or a crisis. We look forward to carry forward the endeavor of nurturing Delfites who have learnt to ‘give’ more than what they ‘get’.
That’s why we call ourselves … a school with a soul…a school that educates minds and touches hearts!
