Nov 16, 2017, Children’s week: Festivals bring joy and happiness. Festival celebrations at preschool help the children to understand the importance of bonding together, sharing joys and celebrating happiness with togetherness! In the developing stage of mind, sowing the seed of unity in diversity in them is very important. The school creates ample learning opportunities for its learners. This Thursday over 200 Delfites of Pre-Primary wing enjoyed watching the enthusiastic dancers of class Nursery Rose and Lily during a class presentation ‘Festivals of India‘. They were dressed in beautiful traditional attires of different states and danced to the tune of traditional songs. The aim was to share knowledge through observation and encourage children to appreciate their own as well as each other’s traditions and culture. Dr. Himani Tyagi, Wing Coordinator class XI-XII graced the event and encouraged the students to enjoy and respect all festivals. It was a day of experiential learning and fun!
