Inter House Manifesto Presentation, July 27, 2017August, 2017
Ever since life began on Earth, species have existed and have gone extinct. Humans have the biggest responsibility to help save endangered species because we are the biggest reason for their endangerment as we have been clearing these creatures’ habitats by deforestation, mining, or expanding and most of these animals, plants, or insects are at risk because of human activity like pollution from cars or factories. Nature is a gift and wildlife is our need. Wildlife is to be preserved for the present as well as for the future generation. “You can’t deny, you need to try, so they don’t die”.
And, to enlighten us on conserving the endangered species, the delfites of Class III A and B hosted a special presentation on “SAVE IT TO CHERISH OR LEAVE IT TO PERISH” as a part of their ISA Project on August 1, 2017 amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Executive Director Dr Mrignaini Khullar graced the event & was spellbound by the performance. She stressed that for our own life we must save life of the endangered species and various migratory birds who visit different water bodies in our country. She said it is the need of the hour to save water and keep our rivers clean so that the migratory birds can visit our country which is not only essential for the ecological balance but also our own survival! A delegation of teachers and students from our DLF world school, Noida also graced the occasion. The event was witnessed by the delfites of I, II and III who were enthralled by a heartwarming skit on “Jungle ki Aap ki Adalat”, a soulful rendition on Prem se Humko Jeene Do” and a scintillating dance performance by our lil’ divas on the song “Heal the World”. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.
