Leaders are born in the school as students get their first lesson in leadership from school where they serve as Captains, prefects and more. Keeping the rich tradition of empowering its students with the means to become successful leaders, the Prefectorial board of the school for the academic year 2017-18 was constituted at an impressive 15th investiture ceremony held at School Auditorium on Aug 31, 2017.
Executive Director Dr. Mrignaini and Principal Seema Jerath administered the oath to the school captain Rusha Chatterjee, Vice-Captains Vishal Jha, Aditi Jain, the other office-bearers and to the House Prefectorial Board of the School. Pennants to new guild were handed over by the former guild.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Seema Jerath while applauding and appreciating the old and new guild, encouraged the students to take charge of their life and face the fear that exists in everybody, stressing that ‘if we leave our fear it grows, but if we face our fear it goes’.
Executive Director Dr. Mrignaini asserted that respect for oneself and others, solving old problems in new ways, being honest to oneself and others and integrity as a way of life are the four important ethos for qualitative leadership.
Last Year Winning Venus House Captain Pranav Nayyar shared that teamwork and synergy were the key to their success.
Captain Rusha Chatterjee highlighted the vision of their guild as Cyber Safety, more focus on Literary Fest for enhancing linguistic skills in students and Psychological awareness.
Programme like Investiture Ceremony is momentous school functions for laying down the foundation of the culture which eventually churn out leaders of future. The solemn occasion will remain memorable for the prefects all their life!
