Apr 30, 2018: DLFPS believes that the classroom is not the only domain where learning takes place. An interactive session recently held in the school premises on ‘Islamic Traditions and Religious Practices’ helped our Class XII Delfites open their eyes and correct several of their misconceptions. The history session was organised for our students to gain first-hand information about teachings of Islam especially those related to their syllabus. Mr. Nafisur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Science & Technology, Jamia Hamdard University was invited for the session to provide insights about Islamic philosophy, laws, traditions and practices. Students were encouraged to ask questions and all their queries and doubts were answered in depth amidst great enthusiasm! ‘The session was quite insightful and was very interesting as it was aligned to our syllabus’ – shared Anushka Sharma, Class XII.
