DLF Public School Turns 22 – Pays Tribute to ‘Babuji’

DLF Public School celebrated its 22nd Founder’s Day on Monday, January 15, 2018 in the memory of eminent educationist and visionary, Late Sh. Darbari Lalji, the inspiration behind the School, celebrating his 88th birth anniversary. Executive Director, Dr. Mrignaini and Principal, Seema Jerath along with the school guild and teachers paid homage to him. The DLF family remembered the inspiration behind the school foundation, Sh. Darbari Lal Ji, fondly known as ‘Babuji’ and paid him a warm tribute. Venus House made a grand and power-packed stage presentation on the theme ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’ followed by a commendation ceremony to award the 163 proud School Scholars for their consistent academic excellence.

Executive Director, Dr. Mrignaini, in her address acknowledged Babuji’s efforts in the field of education and upliftment of downtrodden. She urged that an extraordinary effort brings an extraordinary result and guided all Delfites to use their energies to discover and develop themselves and become a person of action. Overwhelmed with emotions, she concluded by reciting Babuji’s favourite lines, ’Mushakkat ki zillat jinhone uthayi, unhi ko mili iss jahaan mein badayi’.

Principal, Seema Jerath while presenting the vote of thanks to all the stakeholders shared how the school is continuously striving to become a Thinking School with a humanized environment. She advised everyone to believe in the power of their dreams sharing example of beloved ‘Babuji’, who was a resolute soul and achieved so much due to his determination. She inspired everyone to become a self-starter like Babuji.

It was a special day as it gave everyone an opportunity to reflect on the growth of the school over the last 22 years and the school’s bright future ahead.
