DLF Public School Celebrates its Caregivers

A Tribute to the Unsung Heroes of DLF Family

Caregivers’ Day at DLF Public School was celebrated as the ‘Aatmiyata Diwas-Aao Kare Unka Samman Jo Rakhte Hai Hamara Maan’ on March 31, 2017 as a tribute to the backend heroes of the DLF Family. The teachers and the young Delfites recognized and acknowledged the efforts and selfless approach of the caregivers as a valuable contribution in making all school activities and events a success! Together, they expressed their gratitude towards the contribution of the very special stakeholders for giving them a green, safe and a hygienic environment.

Students of Class XII along with their teachers planned and ensured to make it a day full of pleasant memories through a series of events. They actively took part in a number of field activities like Cricket, Straws in the hair, Pithoo and many more fun games. As a gesture of equity a Cricket match was played between the caregivers and students. All members enjoyed themselves to the hilt and prizes were given out to the victorious participants.

Chairman Rakesh Khullar thanked the support staff for their untiring efforts and motivated them to give their best to grow as the school grows! He honoured six employees with ‘Regularity Incentive’. He also announced two new schemes of ‘Delfites Caregiver of the Month’ for caregivers and ‘Employee of the Year’ for the non-teaching staff. As a token of gratitude and love he whole-heartedly offered caregivers the facility of training in sports of their choice. He along with Principal Seema Jerath presented every member of the staff with a special token of appreciation for their round the clock support.

It is one of the numerous thoughtful initiatives that the school inculcates in its students – to understand the holistic interconnectedness and correlation in society. And that we are here for and because of other people.

The Caregivers’ Day celebration, over the years has created a striking harmony between our students, teachers and the caregivers which in turn makes our processes work like well-oiled machinery!
