In due recognition to the commitment and pro-active adoption of the Thots Lab pedagogy of Higher Order Thinking, ReTHINK INDIA felicitated DLF Public School as a ‘Futuristic School of India’ on National Technology Day, May 11th, 2017 at India International Centre, New Delhi.

The global knowledge economy is driven by information and technology and it places increasing demands on a student’s intellectual and analytical skills. The THOTS approach has propelled overall academic and psycho-social excellence of our institution thereby adding value to the school’s academic progress. Critical thinking at the THOTS LAB has been instrumental in promoting students of diverse backgrounds to work together, widen their thinking horizons and help them arrive at an intelligent and informed decision. Moreover, at DLF Public School, problem solving and critical thinking pedagogies are a core strand in the delivery of all subjects. In this comprehensive model, students learn the explicit skills of thinking as they learn their discipline knowledge. Higher-order “transfer” of understanding has proved to be the key to open communication. It has enhanced language and presentation skills of our students and sparked creativity.
