|British Council International School Award 2011-14|
DLPS has been conferred with the highly prestigious British Council International School Award-2011-14.The award has been bestowed upon the school for effectively and efficiently implementing international ethos into its curriculum from classes Pre-Nursery-XII in the session 2010-11.
International visits to/from delegates from various countries and sharing the Indian as well as Scottish way of life under the school’s Connecting Classrooms Project by the British Council, have helped students transcend cross country barriers, and inculcated in them appreciation of other cultures.The school’s international partners for three years under the project are— Mearns Castle High School, Mearns Primary, Calderwood Lodge, Eaglesham Primary, Khirkhill Primary and Hazeldene Nursery from Scotland, UK.
International School Award 2013 by the University of Cambridge
DLPS has been conferred with The International School Award 2013 by The University of Cambridge, 2nd year in a row; recognition for our contribution to global education and introduction of International Language systems.
Outstanding Award’ from Tony Blair’s Face to Faith Foundation
The school’s engagement and significant role in the multi faith global movements as also to universal peace and harmony has earned us the “OUTSTANDING SCHOOL AWARD” by Tony Blair’s Faith Foundation, ours being one of the few schools in India to have received the honour. The Face to Faith Foundation that aims at promoting respect and understanding through education and multi- faith, acknowledged the various initiatives undertaken by DLPS to support them in this noble cause.
