Delfites expressed gratitude to the contribution of the very special stakeholders of the school, its support staff, by celebrating Caregivers’ Day ; befittingly titled as ‘Aap Hain Toh Hum Hain’.

It is the annual celebration at DLPS that ensures that the school, the teachers and most importantly the students understand and acknowledge the value that the support staff of the school adds to the school.

Class XII Delfites made sure that they made the day very warm and special for their caregivers by engaging them in fun events and activities like “Kissa Kursi Ka, Jagga Jasoos, Pehchaan Kaun, Arey Diwano Mujhe Pehchano” which were thoroughly enjoyed by the support staff.

It is one of the numerous thoughtful initiatives that the school drives on the premise of the making students understand the holistic interconnectedness and correlation in society. And that we are here for and because of other people.

Each employee was rewarded with a special gift brought in by Delfites of class XII and presented to them by Dr. Rakesh Khullar, the School Chairman, who infused a greater degree of enthusiasm into the programme by encouraging students to give a special kind of ‘Thank You’ and ‘Best of Luck’ handclap for the caregivers.

“This event was also part of our larger objective of ‘Humanizing the school environment’ and engendering in our students a feeling of gratitude, one of the important attributes of life” said Dr. Rakesh Khullar.

“ Apne hammare bare main itna socha, humain bohot achcha laga. Apko hamara bohot sara ashirwad”, these words from Mrs. Sheetal, Mrs. Mukesh and Mrs. Urmila (support staff) made students realize that they have the power to influence lives in meaningful ways.
